Bruins need to make a deal

They can't afford to bring all their RFAs back anyway - Mcavoy and Carlo are keepers but Heinen and Celery are not necessarily and they both have arb leverage

Projected cap space at about $16M for next year - at least one those guys should be traded for a rental like Simmonds. Schenn is signed next year for $5M so if they get him some salary needs to leave with the Celery, like Backes for one their deadweight losers, i.e. Perron

I forgot to mention JFK and Donato are also RFAs, of those four you can bring back a maximum of two realistically

Cap space is not an issue this year but next year ...Every team is in the same boat, no expectations to move up from $80M

Every team is focusing on who do they want to keep from their current crop of RFAs, offer sheets almost never happen anymore
