You have to finish your chances, not just create chances

The injuries are preventing them from doing that consistently

Finishing requires elite skill, and a lot of the guys they're playing right now don't have even average skill

Tell that to guys who put snapshots over goalies' shoulders with ease or handle the puck so well that they essentially create empty net opportunities

Shot creation is part of the equation, but far from the only thing that matters
